The socialist have won the election…end of story; well, not quite. The Obama faithful must follow-up their last electoral victory with the next, which is not that far away. Now if the Democrats do not loose seats in the house or the senate then I do believe Obama’s political, economic, social, tax, educational, and entitlement scheme has electoral acceptance and socialism is an inevitable American reality. In addition, if the Democrats are as successful in the next as they were in the past two election cycles, the Republican Party of today, the party of conservative influence on the political process of governess, will cower away and emerge as the centrist wing of the socialist-leftist Democratic Party.

Between Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Rahm Emanuel and the other usual suspects of leftist persuasion, coupled with the rhetorical eloquence of Obama, the artful dodger maneuvering of Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and Charlie Rangel the Democratic Party will stampede their agenda thru any Republican resistance. The so called ‘Blue Dog’ sector of the Democratic Party has turned yellow; amazingly, but so politically fitting, not all of the Republicans are enjoined in a united defensive front, so until there is a swing in congressional majority the liberal-socialist have the power and they will abuse it.

As a conservative, admittedly, I am predetermined to a certain methodology of deduction; consequently, when my government enacts legislation or even contemplates actions that seem ill logical or darn right stupid; befuddlement enjoins with confusion resulting in consternation and disbelief. When Bush decided to “invest” via a “loan” to the auto industry I questioned the business sensibility of the action. The Bush administration explained that the taxpayer’s money was transferred so that the unemployment percentage would not be adversely affected…What! Well, the republican president explained, Obama is just coming into office and after all…What!

No investor of merit would risk capital in a failing enterprise; no prudent lender would extend a credit line to any borrower without sufficient collateral, as well as, the proof-of-means to repay the debt. No investor or lender that is except the federal government.

Presently, Obama’s faithful have returned to the liberal-democratic credo of tax and spend; resurrecting a socialistic cause and effect mentality that, obviously, only the faithful can fully comprehend. The casus belli of the liberal-socialist in their quest for dominance is now health-care. Utilizing a complicit media they loudly declare to all who listen or read: If only the health care issue could be resolved the average Joe-household and all of the current economic stress would abate into manageable form. Surely, solving the health-care crises is the untying of the Gordian knot; the remedy for what ails American’s financial woes, if only those republicans would see the light and the way.

The next election is the test. Will America lose its way for the foreseeable future or will good sense triumph over the destructive force of socialism? Obama has raised his flag, its colors are now clearly distinguishable, he and his faithful have chosen their path of governess; we conservatives must defeat them and regain the majority.

I comprehend the Obama agenda of implanting by whatever means socialism into the mix of America’s institutions; but, for the life of me I do not understand how hundreds of democrats, all educated in the finest of schools, could sit on their hands and pledge unflinching simpatico and fidelity to an omnipotent government that once established and entrenched even further intrinsically requires more control over all that fall under its dominion. Can these representatives of the people’s covenants not realize that the consequence of government largeness will lead forthwith into a Marxist-socialistic form and that such a form of governing will, eventually, infringe on the sovereign rights of its citizens?

The ingress of government control over all material transactions has been steadfast and constant; there have been periods of Franklin Delano Roosevelt type of government incursions wherein control and power by the institutions of the federal government was exponentially enhanced. Ronald Regan’s policy attempted to limit the power of government; Bill Clinton declared that the era of big government was over; withstanding, all such actions, the constant has been an ever growing government, an ever controlling government; by measures elephantine or infinitesimal government has eclipsed its original intention and via its largeness has blocked all efforts to the contrary. This Obama government is the ally of a large and evermore powerful government; if successful, Obama will thrust with pointed blade, he will deliver the coup de grace; limited governing premised upon a capitalistic economic system will be lost; a subject of historical record as the system of yesteryear. If the Obama democrats are successful, before our eyes, in plain view we will behold the greatest seizure of power ever attempted since the firing on Fort Sumter by Confederate forces.  

Heretofore, I have discussed the cause and effect of a political nature; but, there are other, possibly more damagingly consequential to the average American.

This nation is about to suffer the devastating effects of a financial implosion that will measure the current crises as moderate. The forthcoming is an ominous virus that has established itself into the vital organs of America’s operating systems.

State, local, private, and union pension funds are under ever increasing pressure to preserve not their earnings but their principle. These pension plans cover millions of American workers many of which with “defined benefit” attachments. The stock market crash has cut the value of these pension plans from 25 to 50 percent of its once appreciating value; for reasons foolish or downright imprudent, the manager’s of these funds have speculated the principle in certain ‘hopeful’ investment belief systems. There is roughly Two Trillion Dollars under pension plan management; The Pension Plan Act requires companies to keep these accounts fully funded, presently, for GM, as only one example, it means putting good money after bad, one fine day a corporation will need to decide whether to fund payroll or their pension plan. All of these rules and regulations were put in place, with the very best of intentions, by congress, the very same congress that regardless of which of the political parties that are in control consistently practice stupid. This is the very same government who created Fannie and Freddie, Medicare, enlarged Social Security beyond its original intent until revenue paid in does not exceed revenue paid out; I could of course go on and on.

Now if the case of pension plan viability did not have enough to concern itself with; many, with the very best of intentions, motivated by doing the right thing, a liberal prompt for funding in ‘socially responsible investing’ or perhaps encouraged by the insanity of greed; millions of pensioners are in for a rude and financially devastating awaking.

Now if one couples this forthcoming inevitable with the entitlement cost to the taxpayer I would say that the Obama answer to the current financial crises which is to spend, spend, and then spend some more, all the while creating a policy that discourages market growth by increasing the tax on the wealthy and profitable corporations is driving the day of financial reckoning to a finality of ultimate demise.

The answer to our financial crises is to decrease taxes and fees across the board, cut the cost of governing, eliminate the gorging on entitlements, attend to the obvious needs and fixes on Social Security and certainly do not give 900 million of our money to the PLO.

As to my objections to Obama’s most recent actions, I have had some comments on this blog that recommend patience instead of my seeming constancy of hostile objections, counter-arguments, and dismay over the president’s policy decisions. I look at the current economic situation with the same sense of urgency as Obama; after all he has declared, symbolically, from the highest mountain the desperate nature of the economy. He has described the economy as devastating, predicting manifestations of doom and gloom; he implied that the financial sky could, unless the congress acts immediately, fall down. He has overtly pressed the ‘need to do it now’; indeed, the president said his stimulus initiative (which of course has passed and is the law of the land) is critical to the very essence of this nation’s financial platform; hence, and therefore, congress must pass this stimulus package as is and at this very moment. Presently, the Obama budget has replaced the stimulus package as the desperate need to affirm. Interestingly, the administration’s director of budget predicts a huge growth in revenue for the American economy by next year; naturally, the deficit is four fold the current; but, in this case Obama the negative is now very much the Obama the positive.

Well, I disagree with his remedy in the mainstay for one prudent and logically tangible reason: Because he cannot diagnose the particular economic-financial problem with sufficient specificity much less definitively define the remedy. Additionally, there is tangible evidence, withstanding the agreement on a general need for a stimulus, that the federal government is borrowing monies (by printing the cash) and spending these borrowed funds on projects that have nothing to do with stimulating the economy; but, have everything to do with advancing a liberal agenda with taxpayer funds.

Imagine, he and his brethren accurately state that jobs are being lost as an indicator and prompter for government intervention and then spend billions of taxpayer monies on projects that have nothing to do with creating or maintaining jobs. I should have patience for this sort of remedy? No, I should not.

Retrocession is the recommended antidote for the Obama intervention; regretfully, the Republican Party is the closest political instrument of utility that has the wherewithal to stymie the implementing of this socialistic incursion by the Obama Democrats into the American government. We citizens must act in a form and manner that registers our displeasure with Obama and his policies. By means extraordinary, as if foretold in the contextual of an ancient Homeric narrative, the protagonist confronts a series of heretofore invincible dragons. Obama the Inexperienced and Untested; faced and defeated the dragon of the highly improbable, sometimes known as the dragon of it will never happen and along with the dragon of against all odds he submits this nation’s electoral to his affirmative as President of the United States.  Achilles would have been proud and envious of Obama’s recent achievements.

His disciples declare his brilliance. Noting how well he speaks the faithful find comfort in his continuance of electability because they know that rhetoric trumps substance; besides, few of the listeners and viewers understand the workings of high finance, global economics nor do they find particular interest in military dynamics, strategy and tactics as such effects and reflects on American’s international obligations. It is so much easier to simply listen and obey.

Obama has no experience but then as enunciated in the presidential campaign Obama has judgment. Besides for experience Obama has his advisors, cabinet, agencies, but then, of course the dragon killer, sorry, the dragon negotiator or tamer and eventual friend of all dragons needs only cursory assistance because he is armed with super-human persuasion, Zen-like insight on reasonableness, plus, Obama has the sixth sense of savvy on all things distanced from the mundane to the heavenly sublime. His persuasion is so awesome that Democrats in congress did not need to read the stimulus bill to vote yes and of course they ratified the largest spending bill ever implemented in the shortest of time.

I do not want to over emphasis his power of persuasion, since, he does have a nice smile, his manner is civil, his grandmother white; his mother was a dedicated liberal who married a black man from Africa; he did graduate from Harvard Law School and oh yes he was a community organizer. The aggregate of these attributes logically enhance the measure of his sum.

Obama the protagonist is thus far the prime mover of his destiny. No other Democrat has his charismatic sway and since the media, a majority of Americans, as well as, the peoples of the world measure their regard for this man somewhere between love and adore to worship and follow him off the cliff or into the darkness of the unknown; the Democrats are quite pleased that their liberator from greedy capitalism; the anointed savior of socialism has finally returned to earth.

But imagine this: Obama’s policies, ideals, political philosophy, behavior understanding of business 101, and international reality is dead wrong. He is wrong on taxing the wealthy, wrong on healthcare, wrong on bailing out the auto industry, the banks are taking the government for a ride down a windy road and he is seriously wrong in motivating risk takers to take risk.Obama lives in a novel of socialistic wish it was and someday going to be…The true value of America is found in the individual not the collective. Less governing by government is more freedom for Americans. We conservatives must blow the horn, beat the drums, we must rally and force these liberals out of office in the next election. Obama must not be allowed to succeed in the transference of America the traditional to America of Obama’s design.

This economic crisis maybe the greatest sleight-of-hand ever perpetrated; never has so few, who know so little, marshaled so much, in so short a period of time, in pursuit of repairing the effects of what has been so weakly defined. Hence, sensibility has been put aside in favor of the ideological assertions of Obama and his faithful.

This is the evidence of our recession: For the last two quarters GDP has gone negative instead of positive; unemployment is or maybe by next reporting cycle as high as 8% and there are those who prophesize as high as 10% unemployment in six to nine months. The auto industry is all but for the lack of acknowledgement bankrupt. The real estate market is great for buyers and terrible for sellers. Because state coffers are filled by taxing consumption, income, and property; state governments have run out of cash to pay for services and obligations.

If there is 10% unemployment that means 90% of the people are employed. Not too shabby, all things considered. The auto industry needs to stop its stupid business nonsense and their unions need to settle on less than everything including $70.00 per hour. All markets have times when it is much better to be a buyer than a seller and conversely; that is the nature of all markets. Governments must stop services it cannot pay for-yes, that includes, medical, fire, police, and entitlements of every descriptive. Yes, people will suffer that is why there is charity, family, and one reason for established religions.

I do not know of a free and open economy that has not turned downward; by means, chartable or not, this current economic downturn is a natural phenomenon. The differing is that as never before America is engaged in a global environment; wherein, trade is no longer dependant on domestic to foreign markets. No longer does each nation retain its own domestic manufacturing. Quite the opposite, American companies are French companies in France; German in Germany, English in England and in turn for foreign companies operating as American companies in America.

Indeed, a descriptive of a free market is one that suffers the effects of downturns, recessions, and yes even prolonged economic negative growth; conversely, another descriptive of a free market is one that benefits from a rising standard of living, a booming economic upside, and consumer products that are as varied as they are inexpensive.

There are those who continue to seek what they label, ‘a fair and honest’ methodology of spreading the wealth to those who have less; interestingly, the venue of common cause to their methodology has never varied. The battle cry is a resounding, “take from those who have;” seems simple enough, America is no exception. Generally, 1% to 5% of its citizens pay in excess of 40% of the nation’s taxes; 50% of its citizen’s pay nominal to nothing in federal income taxes. Of course, all working peoples pay taxes; everyone makes a contribution but the few pay far more for the many.

Here is a question: What is size of the black money market in America? How many working people in the service industry pocket taxable income? God bless them because it is this type of income, this discretionary income that greases the wheels of many a small business. And with anonymity forgives the many unintentional consequences of tax related legislation.

Obama has successfully followed in the footsteps of his predecessor and created panic and disorder in the global markets; unlike his predecessor Obama has harvested more money from the nation’s future than any person since the Phoenicians invented letters; with careless regard, reckless exaggeration and contempt for the reasonableness of acceptable congruity his Democratic brethren have leaped off the cliff of prudence into a faithfulness of liberal-belief. A belief that the government knows what is best for its citizens. That taking from those who have so to give to those that have less is a sustainable economic model. That justice for the poor, the oppressed, the disadvantaged, and maligned will find satisfaction in union representation; that because of a large federal-state-city-county government a sizeable portion of the world’s ills will simply abate; that with more money allotted for education coupled with the surety of a national health program, diplomatic dialogue, tolerance and a thoughtful understanding of the opponent’s position, America will finally achieve the greatness of universal friendliness. Is this not more of the same tax and spent liberal-Democratic logic?
